Edible Oil

Edible oil, also known as "cooking oil", refers to animal or vegetable fats and oils used in the preparation of food. It is liquid at room temperature. Due to the source of raw materials, processing technology and quality and other reasons, the common edible oils are mostly vegetable oils and fats, including canola oil, peanut oil, flaxseed oil, corn oil, olive oil, camellia oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, sesame oil, flaxseed oil (hu ma oil), grapeseed oil, walnut oil, oyster seed oil and so on.

Nutrition security

In addition to the visible labelling, the new standard also regulates and improves the requirements for the production process which is not visible to consumers. For example, in order to safeguard consumers' health and improve product safety and hygiene standards, this standard limits the indicators of acid value, peroxide value and solvent residue in edible oils. At the same time, it limits the minimum quality grade indicators, and mandates the indicators for the minimum grades of pressed finished oil and leached finished oil.
