Recently, the Qinghai Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued a notice revealing that, during recently organized food safety supervision and random sampling inspections, a total of eight batches of food products were found to be non-compliant with food safety standards. According to the notice, the batches of food found to be non-compliant with food safety standards covered various categories, including vegetables, fruits, alcoholic beverages, and dried products. Specifically, the test value for oxytetracycline in eggplants sold by Delingha Yuanyuan Trading Co., Ltd. in the Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture did not meet national food safety standards; the test value for lead (Pb) in dried gongo vegetables sold by Jiahua Supermarket in Qumalai County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and labeled as produced by Qinghai Wanggong Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology Co., Ltd., exceeded standards; and the test value for fenpropimorph in Wokan oranges sold by Jincheng Trading Co., Ltd. in Zhiduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, did not meet national food safety standards. Additionally, several other commercial companies were also notified for selling oilseed vegetables, tomatoes, barley wine, and other food products with test values that did not meet standards.
